From 10 March to 31 May, two students from IES Siete Palmas, Raul and Jose, took part in a mobility programme focusing on computer network management. This programme, in collaboration with Micropc and EGInA, enabled them to gain practical experience in the information technology sector.
Raul worked with Micropc, managing both hardware and software. His tasks included hardware maintenance with diagnosing problems, replacing parts and upgrading systems. He also did some software management by installing and configuring software to ensure compatibility and optimum performance. This experience has given Raul an in-depth insight into IT infrastr
ucture.
Jose worked with Cristiano at EGInA, focusing on website design. In particular, he worked on website design by creating visually appealing and functional website layouts. Moreover, he learned about understanding requirements and designing user-friendly interfaces. Jose’s role strengthened his skills in the creative and technical aspects of web design.
The mobility programme provided Raul and Jose with practical skills, experience of the working environment and valuable industry contacts. Their participation underlines the importance of practical experience in education, particularly in the dynamic field of information technology.
