CREA CULTURA Festival: a cultural and educational exchange in Foligno

From 20 to 22 March, pupils from four different schools took part in the CREA CULTURA festival in Foligno, Italy. This dynamic event combined workshops, cultural visits and participation in a festival, fostering a rich exchange of knowledge and culture between students from Bulgaria and Slovenia.

 

Firstly, ten students and two teachers from the Yane Sandanski school in Bulgaria arrived in Foligno on 9 March. Their programme included a three-day workshop entitled ‘True Crime’ at the Centro Studi, organised in collaboration with students from the Da Vinci school. In addition, they took part in another three-day workshop called ‘BLISS’, focusing on creative arts and mindfulness. The group also had the opportunity to visit the historic cities of Rome and Assisi, enriching their understanding of Italian heritage. At the CREA CULTURA festival, Yane Sandanski’s students had a stand representing their school and took part in various workshops, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.

 

A few days later, ten students and two teachers from 36 SOU Maksim Gorki School in Bulgaria arrived on the 13 March to take part in the ‘BLISS’ workshop at the Centro Studi in Foligno. The three-day workshop focused on creative arts and mindfulness, and gave the students new perspectives and skills. Throughout the CREA CULTURA festival, the students also actively participated in numerous workshops, enriching their educational journey. Their cultural itinerary included visits to Assisi and Perugia, where they discovered the rich cultural and historical landscape of these cities. 

 

On 14 March, ten pupils and two teachers from Scuola Primaria Lyliia took part in the festival activities in Foligno. They spent two days working with the Piermarini school, fostering international collaboration and learning. At the CREA CULTURA festival, they took part in various workshops, developing their creative skills and engaging with peers from different backgrounds. The group also visited Assisi, discovering its historical and spiritual importance.

 

Arriving on 18 March, five students and two teachers from the Popular University of Postojna in Slovenia immersed themselves in the CREA CULTURA festival. They took part in various workshops, broadening their cultural and artistic perspectives and enriching their overall experience in Foligno.

 

The CREA CULTURA Festival offered students a platform to engage in diverse workshops, collaborate with peers from different countries, and explore Italy’s rich cultural heritage. This enriching experience offered a unique blend of learning, creativity and cultural immersion, creating a lasting memory for each participant.
