We are thrilled to announce our new collaboration with Ellelle, a local cooperative supporting and empowering individuals with a wide range of disabilities. Their commitment to inclusion and personal growth is undeniable, and for the past few weeks, two Spanish students from Huelva had the chance to be part of it.
Their one-month mobility was more than just a work placement, it was a whirlwind of emotions, discoveries and connection. Indira and Maria brought their warmth, creativity and genuine care, and in return received affection, laughter and unforgettable memories. The residents at Ellelle quickly bonded with the girls, who became part of this one big family. It was an enriching cultural exchange for everyone. Spanish spirit met Italian hospitality, creating moments of joy through shared activities like painting, singing, cooking and visiting local cities.
For the students, it was not only a way to develop practical skills, but also to grow personally, and open up to new ways of thinking and caring. Their experience was so powerful that they both wished they could stay longer!
The good news? This is just the beginning! Ellelle is already hosting another Spanish student, Francisco, until June and this summer, they will welcome two French girls ready to bring even more joie de vivre!
This partnership between EGInA and Ellelle is a shining example of how international mobility can foster inclusion, break down barriers and bring fresh energy into communities.
