From October 21st to November 7th, nine metalworker students from CFA Les Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France alongside a teacher and a translator, were immersed in the Italian way of life. The group traveled from Tours (France) to Foligno for a new professional experience, followed by a series of cultural visits across Italy.
For three enriching weeks, the students joined Promass and Bazzica. They were able to put their skills into action and also learn new techniques. They were cutting, assembling and welding metal pieces.
However this mobility wasn’t just about joining a foreign company. It was also about exploring Italy and learning about its history. Therefore, the group embarked on several cultural visits organised by EGInA. They explored the Caves of Frassasi, the Underground of Narni, Florence, Assisi, Perugia and Rasiglia.
The journey offered valuable insights into the art of metalworking as well as the cultural heritage of Italy.
